Road Movements

06/07 Yellow Serco HST power car 43062 was noted on a road low-loader sheeted over in the M5 Gordano services (near Bristol) at 16.30 en-route from Derby-Plymouth Devonport dockyard for repair. It has been reported that now all 'current' mainline running stock will be sheeted over during road transit.

26/07 DMU car 51341 was seen heading for store at Winfrith, Dorset on the M27, for eventual use on the Swanage Railway. A number of DMU cars are believed to have been purchased by the local county council for use over this now mainline connected preserved line.
