Industrial Railway Society

The Industrial Railway Society was founded in 1949 as the Birmingham Locomotive Club - Industrial Locomotive Information Section. The Southend Pier Railway Museum

The pier is the longest pleasure pier in the world and the museum hosts to pier trams from the 1890s and 1950s along with a working signal box.
